Furthermore, Mr. Offman strives to take an inspired approach to legal issues in an attempt to facilitate his client’s best interests in a cost-effective manner.
While it is Mr. Offman’s goal to resolve conflict without the need for Court intervention, when possible, he has extensive experience advocating for his clients through litigation throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, with vigor.
Andrew Offman was first licensed to practice law in 2014, in Maryland, where he began his legal career before he and his family relocated to Charlottesville, Virginia and he was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2019.
Mr. Offman first worked as an intern for the Administrative Judge of the Harford County Maryland Circuit Court before being hired as a judicial law clerk for the four District Court judges of the Harford County Maryland District Court. It was there that Mr. Offman was able to learn the practice of law first-hand, refine his skills and gain invaluable insight into the procedures and thought processes of the judiciary.
Upon conclusion of the judicial clerkship, and over the course of the last 6 years, Mr. Offman has practiced family law almost exclusively and has arduously represented the best interest of his clients in all aspects of family law. Mr. Offman has vast experience in family law matters involving fault-based and no-fault divorces, child custody and visitation, child/spousal support, equitable distribution of property, enforcement proceedings, drafting Pre-Nuptial and Post-Nuptial Agreements as well as significant experience with protective order matters.
Kind Words about Andrew
"Andrew has taken time to get to know the law, and taken time to get to know me. Thus I trust that he's going to represent me with skill, resourcefulness, and attention to detail. He endeavors to apply both legal expertise and common sense to any situation we're facing. Add to that his easy approachability outside the courtroom, and his wit and winsomeness within it, and I am confident that my best interests are continually paramount."
"Andrew Offman, with the firm Tremblay & Smith, PLLC represented me in a high conflict divorce and I received excellent legal representation. With this being not only a very difficult situation but also an extremely sensitive and emotional time in my life, Andrew handled my case with the utmost professionalism.
